Photo of the Month: October 2012
The 2012 Photo of the Year comes from Vickie Willis who took this exquisite portrait of a White-tailed Kite and the waning moon in her West Sacramento backyard. Vickie relates, "The timing couldn't have been more perfect. As I was taking pictures of it, I noticed the moon was setting behind it." Timing is everything. Nice work, Vickie!
