July 2011's Photo of the Month is of a trio of baby Northern Mockingbirds in their nest. This charming photo was taken by Chris Knight.

Inset: The folks from Folkmanis really managed to capture the essence of these nestlings in their Mockingbird Baby Hand Puppet, available at Wild Birds & Gardens. Like the Mockingbird's songs, the resemblence to the original is uncanny.
