Photo of the Month: November 2012
This beautiful portrait of an Oak Titmouse was snapped by Jim Drysdale of Orangevale, California. Jim says, "My homemade bird feeder looked rather drab so I added some artificial flowers for a background color. The flowers didn't seem to bother the birds at all and provided a nice color contrast, especially the little grey Oak Titmouse. Getting him to stand still long enough to focus is another story."
Taken with a Panasonic Lumix FZ150 equipped with a Raynox 2.2x Telephoto Conversion Lens. f5.2, 1/250 shutter speed, ISO 400.
