Bright chestnut stallion, Classical Spanish, 1990
SCID: Clear, Ca: N/N (Clear)
Stud fee: $2500, shipped cooled or frozen

EXODUS I +// is literally ‘covered up’ with show ring accolades. He loved his work, and although always a happy horse, he was particularly happy when we would unbraid his tail and let it down, as he knew that meant a horse show.

Shown in Working Hunter, Dressage, Hunter Hack, Sport Horse under Saddle and Stallion breeding classes, EXODUS I +// had a show career spanning a decade and a half, from 1991 to 2008.

During that time EXODUS I +// had fourteen National (USA & Canada) awards, with a US Reserve National Championship in Working Hunter AAO at his last show in 2008. EXODUS I +// was statistically the highest scoring Arabian (and interestingly enough, the Champion High Score Half-Arabian was Half Spanish) at the first Arabian Sport Horse National Finals in Lexington, Virginia, 2003.

EXODUS I +// had beautiful jumping form his entire career, and his jumping photos all looked alike—just lovely. In 2006, his owner, Molly Stanley, was pleased and proud to pilot EXODUS I +// to a US National Top 10 in Sport Horse under Saddle (statistically 4th out of 66 entries).

EXODUS had other and many High Score awards at horse shows, as he always turned in a good performance and loved to work like no other. At the Scottsdale Arabian Show (the largest Arabian show in the world with around 2500 entries or more in all disciplines, with six rings for showing), EXODUS I +// was shown in more classes (20) in that two week show than any horse in history. Many horses come to Scottsdale for one class.

The year was 2007, Molly and Lisa showed EXODUS I +//. He had Dressage Scores of 70 and 71, to end with a Reserve High Score in Dressage. The following week he was shown in Working Hunter classes, to end with that Reserve Champion High Score award.

EXODUS has received his Legion of Honor, Legion of Supreme Honor and Legion of Excellence (+// - requires 300 points) from the Arabian Horse Association.

His career prints out to seven pages in the AHA DataSource.

Retired (sound) in 2009, EXODUS I ++/ is living happily at home, with his tail down.
